STANDARD FIRST AID (HSSFA101) – Designed to teach lay responders the knowledge and skills necessary to give care in an emergency to help sustain life and minimize the consequences of injury or sudden illness until medical help arrives. Course Length 4 hours.

STANDARD FIRST AID with CPR/AED- ADULT (HSSFA404) – Designed to train lay responders to overcome any reluctance to act in emergency situations and to recognize and care for life-threatening respiratory or cardiac emergencies in adults. It will provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury and sudden illness until professional help arrives.  Here you will learn how to give CPR, respond to breathing emergencies, and how to use an automatic external defibrillator (AED).Course Length 8.5 Hours

It will provide the lay responder with the knowledge and skills necessary in an emergency to help sustain life and to minimize pain and the consequences of injury or sudden illness until professional medical help arrives. Additionally, lay responders are taught the knowledge and skills necessary to use and automated external defibrillator (AED) with pediatric AED pads on child victims between the ages of 1 and 8 or less than 55 pounds. Course Length 8.5 hours

CPR/AED for the PROFESSIONAL RESCUER (HSPRO101) – American Red Cross professional rescuer courses are designed for people with job-related duty to respond in an emergency, including nurses, law enforcement and EMS personnel, fire fighters, business and industry response teams, lifeguards, flight attendants, and others who must take action in emergency situations. Course Length 8 hours

BABYSITTER’S TRAINING (31400) – Designed to provide individuals, ages 11 to 15, with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care for children in the absence of parents and adult guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in leaderships and professionalism, basic care, safety and safe play; and first aid. Students need to bring a sack lunch. Course Length 6 hours.

HIV/AIDS STARTER FACTS (3511) – Designed to provide individuals with a knowledge base on HIV and AIDS.  It will provide skills needed to separate facts from misinformation and opinions. Course Length 4.5 hours.

HIV/AIDS STARTER FACTS INSTRUCTOR (3511I) – Designed to train instructor candidates to: share facts about HIV and AIDS accurately, non-judgmentally, and sensitively with people from diverse groups and communities, discuss facts related to sensitive issues such as sex and sexuality and drugs and drug use, facilitate group discussions about HIV prevention, and learn how to encourage people to apply those facts to their own behavior. Course Length 24 hours.

Course Fee: $150.00

Bloodborne Pathogens (32650) – Designed to train and provide individuals with an understanding of the intent of the bloodborne pathogens regulation issued by OSHA; how bloodborne pathogens are spread; how to prevent exposure incidents and what to do if an exposure incident occurs. PET FIRST AID(CNPFA101) – Designed to provide individuals with the skills necessary to recognize symptoms and care for common ailments and emergencies. It teaches how to create a pet first aid kit and gives tips on maintaining your pet’s well-being.Course Length 4 hours.

Whales Tales (34911) – Teaches children ages 5 to 12 about safe behavior in, on, or around the water. Course Length 2 hours.

FACT – (First Aid For Children Today)(3217)-  Leads children through health promotion and injury prevention activities. It teaches safety in a non-threatening way.  Topics include hygiene and health habits, first aid, personal safety and injury prevention. (Grades K-3). Course Length 12 hours.

BAT (Basic Aid Training)(3201) – Children learn emergency response skills, rescue breathing, and ways to prevent and care for choking, wounds, nosebleeds, falls and animal bites.  It includes responses for fire safety, poisoning, water accidents, substance abuse and more. (Grades 3-5). Class Length 6 hours. 

Course Fee: $40.00
